THE DESIGN
Ink Dragon is a coiling black-ink composition: horned head, scale rhythm, a central open curve and a tail that dissolves into brushwork.
The silhouette is designed to travel with the body, keeping its strongest detail at the head and scale band while allowing the outer marks to breathe.
CULTURAL STORY & SYMBOLIC MEANING
Chinese dragon imagery has long been associated with cloud, rain and movement between changing states. This original artwork draws on that visual language without claiming a named deity or ritual function.
Its water-ink treatment suggests continuity, alertness and adaptable momentum within the composition. These are cultural and artistic associations rather than promises of any outcome.
COMPOSITION & TATTOO TRANSLATION
The dragon suits the upper back, shoulder blade, outer upper arm, forearm, lateral thigh or calf. Keep the head upright, the tail downward and the central negative space open.
The supplied design must not be mirrored or redrawn into another dragon. A professional tattoo artist should adapt only fragile micro-detail as needed for the chosen scale and skin placement.

Its defining composition and symbolic relationships should remain recognisable.
SYMBOLIC, NOT PROMISSORY
