About QIBURST
QIBURST is an independent cultural brand dedicated to making traditional Chinese metaphysical systems understandable in modern English.
We work with BaZi, the Five Elements, Shen Sha, Feng Shui-inspired spatial reading, and traditional symbolic practices—preserving their original frameworks while translating them into a form modern readers can understand and reflect on.
Our purpose is not to reduce these traditions to fortune-telling.
It is to make an old language readable again.
Why QIBURST Exists
Traditional Chinese metaphysics was never built as a collection of quick personality labels.
It developed through generations of observing time, season, environment, human behavior, Yin and Yang, and the changing relationships between the Five Elements.
Ancient structure. Modern language.
The difficulty is that much of this language was created in a very different cultural world.
QIBURST sits between those two worlds.
We preserve the traditional logic first — then explain what it means in natural, understandable English.
Our study tradition traces its roots to 1876, through generations of private learning, handwritten notes, calculation methods, and accumulated interpretation.
QIBURST is not affiliated with a temple, sect, or religious institution.
We remain independent, drawing from traditional Chinese metaphysical systems while presenting them for a modern global audience.
